Throughout my career, I have contributed to the field through roles in distribution, educational endeavours at trade shows, and teaching at esteemed beauty institutes. My journey began with a genuine love for aesthetics, fostering a life long commitment to empowering individuals through transformative beauty makeovers. Witnessing the confidence and self-esteem growth in others remains a source of immense joy.

I have had the privilege of collaborating with various beauty product lines, meticulously selecting products and ingredients that align with my commitment to excellence. At Spa On Astra, I conscientiously apply this thoughtful approach to provide the best possible experience for my clients.

Beyond the realm of aesthetics, I find balance by enjoying quality time with my family. Whether navigating the ocean on our boat or exploring mountain trails with cherished friends, I value moments of relaxation and connection outside the spa environment.

Though not at all Irish, Kathleen spent 15 years competing in world level Irish Dancing, which unknowingly precipitated her love of beauty and the arts. Now known by most as Kath, she lives in the Comox Valley with her cabinet-building husband, Jack, and two kids, Connor and Prim. With 10 years of experience in community nursing, she has taken the last two years off to focus on fostering babies alongside her family, pursue her love of art and design working with her husband in the home building industry and also pursuing extensive training in the field of aesthetic nursing. It’s here that she has been able to blend clinical expertise with an artistic touch - her dream nursing job. Trained in Calgary, Alberta and educated in both neuromodulators and dermal fillers, she specializes in achieving natural, subtle enhancements that highlight each client’s unique beauty. Her love for art and design drive her to approach each treatment with an eye for balance and harmony, ensuring that the results are both aesthetically pleasing and true to the individual.
